Attars are popular throughout the Middle East, South Asia and parts of Africa, where they have been used for thousands of years. Traditionally in the Eastern world it was a customary practice to offer attar to guests at the time of their departure. The tradition of giving a scent to one's guests continues to this day in many parts of the Eastern world.
The Mirage Mists Story
The inspiration behind the name Mirage Mists.
Starting Note
In 2019 whilst performing Umrah, we fell in love with the scents of every street, corner, hotel, masjids and particularly the haram. We could always smell something oh so good, from the woody oud, to floral jasmine, the sweet amber to the fresh clean musk scent. There was just one problem. The bottles and packaging didn't sit right with our aesthetic on our dresser, in the car or at home. We simply wanted an extensive range of exotic fragrances in bottles and packaging which are modern, sleek and stylish. So, we specially curated just that and simply want to spread that joy across to you.

End Note
Concentrated Perfume Oils are oils extracted from flowers, woods, spices, etc. They do not contain any additives such as alcohol, hence making the scent stronger than EDTs and EDPs. As they are 100% alcohol free, it makes them halal. A few drops will last longer and go a long way.
The word 'attar' in Arabic, 'ittar' in Hindi and Urdu mean 'scent'. Thought to have originally derived from the Persian word Atr, meaning 'fragrance'.
Attar is a Arabic word for a natural perfume oil, derived from botanical sources, such as flowers, herbs, spices, or barks. They can also be expressed by chemical means too. These are then distilled into a wood base and then aged. This period can last from several years depending on the botanicals used and the results desired.
